The atmosphere at Valentino’s is modern Italian perfection — low lighting, sophisticated yet cozy, and beautifully decorated with a flawless blend of traditional and modern. But the real star of the show? The food. Hands down the best Chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had. My husband is still talking about the Country Rigatoni days later! We started with three appetizers — fried calamari, the meatball ricotta, and the chef offered a preview of a new bruschetta wreath that was absolutely to die for. I sincerely hope that one makes it onto the menu soon! Our kids ordered lasagna and spaghetti, both classic and delicious, entrées. Every bite was perfection. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the evening feel special from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of downtown Ottawa, Valentino’s is a beautiful mix of calm and lively energy — the perfect spot for a date night or family dinner. We can’t wait to go back!

First time here and I don’t think we will ever stop talking about this place! We were greeted with bread and olive oil and we got calamari to start. Delicious! Dinner for us was the Chicken Paisano and the Chicken Marsala. Safe to say, best Italian food we’ve ever had! Service was beyond phenomenal and the restaurant has such an inviting and warm atmosphere. We will be back! Thank you!

Honestly wasn't sure what to expect going in. Having never been to this area you can tell that this is being revamped. As for valentinos, the service was exceptional! Atmosphere is a bit loud, but it's not like its difficult to talk. Had 2 fantastic drinks at the bar and decided to for go our table and eat at the bar. The food, well I can tell you that you will not go home hungry! Hell I wont be hungry tomorrow there's that much! Started out with the burrata and prosciutto. We devoured that quickly! After I had the giambotta and the flavors melded together beautifully! After that for dessert we split a cheesecake....and after we finished it we ordered 1 to go! Ya it's that good! When we got the bill.....it cost me a little bit more than portillos! I was extremely happy with everything about last night, I just wish I wasn't an hour and a half away from this place.

This is a new restaurant that just opened up in Ottawa. I have to say that the service was fantastic. The waitresses were wonderful as well as the guys that brought out the food. As far as the food goes, in my opinion, the shrimp scampi was way too garlicky. The fettuccine sauce is thin & not very flavorful, but the marinara sauce is good. My friend liked the Chicken Parmesan and they give you a pretty large serving. The lasagna servings are huge. They don’t give you a salad with your meal, which seemed a bit unusual. We enjoyed the bread & oil, but usually it is served with Parmesan cheese, which it was not. It was very loud inside, but in all fairness, the restaurant is new and they were very busy. Definitely not the best Italian restaurant that I’ve been to, but it has potential.

From start to finish, our experience at Valentino’s Pasta and Wine was outstanding! Our server, Jordyn, truly set the tone with her great personality and attentive service—she made sure we had everything we needed and was definitely not stingy with the cheese (always a win in my book!). We started with the Caesar salad, bread, and olive oil, and everything was so fresh and delicious. The sangria flight was a fun touch, with the tropical flavor being my personal favorite. I also ordered an Old Fashioned, and I have to say—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we enjoyed. Everything from the drinks to the dishes was on point, but what really made the night unforgettable was Jordyn’s service. She elevated the whole experience and made it feel special. Highly recommend Valentino’s Pasta and Wine—and if you’re lucky, ask for Jordyn!

This was my first time here after receiving and invitation from Chef Karla and everything was excellent. The restaurant has a cozy feel and the staff were attentive and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Paisano and it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious! I also had a couple espresso martinis which were very tasty. I can’t wait to come back and try some new items. Sorry for the sloppy picture, I couldn’t wait to dig in!
